The Thirty Day Challenge Was A Success

Been very busy lately doing research and creating content for a new niche I'm going into. Now I know that's no excuse but that is why I have not made a blog post in a while. Ya ya, I know I said I would make a point of making blog posts on a regular basis, but usually when I think of doing it, it's getting late and I want to get some sleep. Anyway, I think I'll add it to my calender to make a post at least once a week. I wouldn't hold my breath though ;-).

Well, the Thirty Day Challenge was a success and I made my $10. Mind you, I didn't reach the goal until 6 days after but the bottom line is that I did make the $10 and it cost me absolutely nothing to get it.

It was a very pleasant surprise to get the first sale. I honestly didn't think that I would receive it because I haven't been getting much traffic to my content. The keyword phrase that I chose was also discovered by about 4 other Thirty Day Challengers as well so there was a lot of Web 2.0 competition.

Since I haven't been getting much traffic to my sites, I decided to do research for a new niche. The main goal after you find a keyword phrase that has a good number of searches per day and that has a low amount of competing Google pages is to get traffic to your sites. At least 200 visitors a day is needed. Since I wasn't getting this with my old niche I decided to start over again. Who knows, I may go back to the old niche sometime down the road.

The Thirty Day Challenge was a great experience and I learned a lot about how to use Web 2.0 to get quick results in Google. The Challenge forum is still active and Ed will be adding new info to the site every few weeks or so.

I also got to know a bunch of great Internet Marketers and even exchanged a few emails with these amazing people. These people are very good at what they do and they want to give some of this information back to help others to be successful too. I am lucky to have been able to learn from them and I would like to thank them. So a big thank you goes to Ed Dale, Dan Raine, Nicolas Messe, Andrew "Nez" Nesbitt, Caro McCourtie, Lisa Hartwell and all my team members.

Thirty Day Challenge YouTube Film Festival

I slapped up my entry for the Thirty Day Challenge YouTube Festival on Sunday. I actually finished it on Friday but didn't put it on YouTube until Sunday because I was trying to build my courage up.

The point of my video was to promote the 30 Day Challenge but do it a little different than the other entries that I saw.

So I got out my old trusty fake teeth... my Philadelphia Flyers hat... and tried to use a wacky accent (I'm a country boy, so it wasn't that much of a stretch).

Well, I made quite an ass out of myself!

Oh well, it was great fun to do and I think that the 30 Day Challenge is going to be great...so what the heck!

Anyway, check it out and watch me act like a fool.

30 Day Challenge - Preseason Kicks Off Today

I'm so pumped up today because it's the first day of the 30 Day Challenge preseason.

Ed Dale is a genius and I can't wait to see what he has planned for us this year.

Ed posted on his blog today this message:

"I was just chating to Justin Blake - a very keen Internet Marketer - and he asked this great question…

Pretend you had a favorite nephew that heard about your 30 day challenge and he came to you and said Uncle…What’s it “REALLY” take to win the 30 day challenge…If you could give him just one solid nugget what would it be?

My Answer

Follow The Steps - It’s that simple and that hard…"

I can't wait!

If you haven't signed up yet...HURRY UP!

Jason Moffatt Copywriting Course & 30 Day Challenge

Well I'm back from vacation and ready to get back to business. Actually I got back last weekend but I was busy trying to catch up on all the stuff that I didn't do because I was away last week.

One of the things that I have been spending the most of my time on is an 8 week online copywriting/video workshop with Jason Moffatt. Jason is one of the up and coming great Internet Marketers. He started to become successful when he joined Ed Dale's 30 Day Challenge. In fact he was named the 2005 Underachiever of the Year! Jason is totally insane and a damn good marketer.

So far Jason has been teaching us how to put a sales letter together and the importance of the headlines, bullets and of course your sales copy.

Jason has also provide some great interviews with some of the best Copywriters and Internet Marketers in the business. Some special guests so far have been Dean Jackson, Shaune Clarke, Mike Morgan and Magic Ryan to name a few.

I am very happy with the the amazing amount of quality content I have received so far and I'm only half way through the course. I can't wait to see what else Jason has up his sleeve.

Speaking of Ed Dale's 30 Day Challenge, in case you haven't heard of it before, is a website where he shows you step-by-step how to make money online. His site provides all the resources you will need to get the job done and he challenges you to do it within 30 days (hence the name). You will also get to join a team to make sure you get the support to make sure you make money online.

I just found out about this challenge through Jason, so I haven't experienced the site first hand but a site that includes big time Internet Marketing names like Jason Moffatt, Ed Dale and Frank Kern, you know it's the real deal. I have already joined this year's challenge and if you want to learn how to make money online then I would suggest you sign up too. This year's challenge starts August 1.

The best part of the 30 Day Challenge is that it's absolutely FREE! You also don't need any previous experience to participate. They provide everything you need to help you succeed. This year, it’s even easier then last to make money with the challenge. All sorts of new opportunities have surfaced and Ed and his team have been all over these web 2.0 techniques.

I can't wait!

Make sure you register.

Big Shout Out To All My Internet Marketing Buddies Out There!

Finally got off my ass and decided to get this blog going.

I plan to use my blog as a source of information and hopefully inspiration for other Internet Marketers.

I gotta run now because I'm going away for a week to visit my dad, but I wanted to at least get my first entry in before I left.

Later!
